After the successful organization of 23 International Festivals and 17 International Choir Competitions in summer time, the organizing committee of the International AV Choral Events has decided to organize for the first time a Special Edition of the International AV Choir Festival & Competition in Karpenisi. This special edition, the so-called International AV Winter Festival & Competition, aims to allow participating choirs to meet Karpenisi at winter time and get the chance to participate in the prestigious AV Choral Events in Greece (perhaps) in more suitable dates. The structure, requirements and competition rules for the AV Winter Festival are the same with the ones required to participate in the AV Choir Competition Event in Karpenisi. The event will not be organized for 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
